Title: From Fear to Hope: Aciro’s Journey to Safety
Before receiving support, I lived in a constant fear. As a survivor of gender‑based violence, I had no access to counseling, legal guidance, or economic support. My future felt uncertain, and my sense of dignity was broken.
Through Global Pathways Foundation’s Protection & Safety program, Aciro received psychosocial counseling, emergency support, and joined a women’s savings group that helped her regain independence.
Today, I feel safe, financially stable, and actively supporting other women in her community. I have rebuilt my confidence and reclaimed control of my life.
